Michelle + Noah – Country Wedding

Once again, I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to photograph another couple with Tony DiLorenzo before the end of the wedding season – with Fall colours out in the countryside and all. The women of the bridal party (and others too!)  in their sleeveless dresses froze a bit, but they kept their smiles nonetheless, borrowed some jackets from the men and had a great celebration. Some highlights of the day…

Everyone should consider a Photobooth for their reception! The guests had so much fun…as you can see. So did I!

Autumn Vibrance

Despite rainier days, fall is a great time for family portraiture. A photographer friend of mine hired me to capture his family. We had to cancel a few times due to rain, but managed to get these shots done before the bad weather hit again. Their 5-year old had his listening ears on the entire time. I was seriously impressed… I owe him an ice cream. :)

This next one took a little bit of convincing…

But in the end, he complied. I had one chance and together, we did it!

Landscape Experts

Some quick samples of some photos that I shot for a local landscape/construction company – a great space to lounge in plus a roof-top garden above the garage. As the weather cools, I will be moving indoors to photograph Part ll of this project.

Breathtaking Art – Elviga Sebris

A quick sample of some wonderful art I had the joy of photographing a few weeks ago. Elviga and I participated in the same exhibit at Camp Saulaine last month for their annual Rudens Svetki (Fall Festival). Although she works in several mediums, I am strongly drawn to one of her newest forms of art, her pencil drawings – they’re just stunning! Here are two of my favourites. Hoping to help Elviga get a website up soon so that she can share her art with the rest of the world – this work needs to be seen! Beautiful, Elviga!

The exhibit took place in the barn. Loved the light in there…

Some samples of my greeting cards – a few new ones for 2010.

Pre-Wedding Shoot in September

This couple celebrated their union on September 26th (wedding photo samples to be posted soon). As part of my Wedding Photography services, I offer a complimentary 1 hour pre-wedding (or engagement) photo session – the best way for us to get to know one another before I follow them around all day with my camera. This way, we both know what to expect!

We started in their new home and then ventured out into their new hood. Fun was had with some great props -  a fine art illustration of the falling bride and groom and a sweet card they had just received with warm wishes for their big day.
