Three Sisters

I had a great time with this session at a home in South Surrey some weeks ago. 3 sisters – 11 months, 4 and 7 -   the youngest had just perfected her crawling skills, so I was on my hands and knees following her around the living room as best I could!  I got my exercise, to say the least. Here are some of my favourites.

If this isn’t a pout, I don’t know what is! Maybe she didn’t care so much for me pointing a big, black piece of equipment her way!

She needed to give it some thought, but decided A JUMP would be best for her Action Shot! So sweet!

Every 7 year old needs a photo of herself in her PINK room!

Pix Productions House Call

Yes, I do do house calls, and I actually prefer this: 1) clients are relaxed in their own homes, 2) they can’t forget anything at home because they are at home! 3) depending on the available light, photographing in someone’s home makes my creativity flow – new props all around! 5) clients have access to all of their clothing (if they’ve done their laundry! ;-), so throwing on something different for a quick shot is easy, 6) And an added bonus, I get to exercise my arm muscles transporting my equipment. :)

I had the great opportunity of photographing the client of one of my good friends, Michelle Moore of What I See Photography, as she is temporarily residing overseas.  The weather even cooperated for us, so we were able to get outdoors for a bit. The little one isn’t even walking yet, but she sure knows how to smile and did a great job in front of the camera despite the nap she skipped that morning! And the Mom and Dad, well, they certainly don’t have a problem with smiles either! Thanks for being such cooperative subjects!
